2021 Above and Beyond Award Winner


On June 10, 2021 the Big Sky Chapter of SHRM recognized Alona SImonovich, SHRM-SCP with the Above and Beyond Award for her contributions to HR and the Big Sky SHRM Chapter.


Alona is a Staff Recruiter with Clearwater Credit Union and the Past President for the Big Sky SHRM Chapter in 2021.


She was nominated for her innovative ideas for Chapter Networking and her success in being flexible in promoting Big Sky SHRM activities during the 2020-2021 Coronavirus pandemic.

2017 Above and Beyond Award Winner



On April 13th, 2017 the Big Sky SHRM Chapter recognized Sherrie Sorensen with an Above and Beyond Award for her contributions to the HR profession. Sherrie is the Human Resource Manager for Missoula Aging Services and the VP of Education and Certification for the Big Sky SHRM Chapter.

She was nominated by Melinda Long whom she worked with on the Health Resource Guide Committee. Sherrie is loyal, hardworking, and as Melinda said, "has gone Above and Beyond in everything she does."
