Participants must be a member of the Big Sky Chapter of SHRM in order to participate in the study session.  Big Sky SHRM has a group purchasing discount arrangement for the Learning Systems in the amount of $615 plus $32 for shipping.  A huge savings for our members!

Reimbursement Scholarship



Big Sky SHRM offers a reimbursement scholarship to pay for the price of your exam if your employer will not do so. We are now accepting applications 2026. If you are selected for the scholarship, you will be reimbursed for the exam fee once you have successfully passed the exam.

2026 Scholarship Reimbursement Application


Eligibility for Scholarship:

  • Must be first time having taken the HRCI SPHR/PHR or the SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam.
  • Cannot be for re-certification for SPHR after receiving PHR or SHRM-SCP after receiving SHRM-CP.
  • Must be a local SHRM member and in good standing for at least one year prior to date of application.
  • Your Company does not already pay for exam.
  • Must pass exam for reimbursement award of scholarship.
  • Deadline for submission of scholarship no later than May 16, 2026 for the First Test Window
    and by December 17, 2026 for the Second Test Window to allow enough time to prepare for and register.
  • Scholarship will be randomly chosen from applications received.
  • Must not be a member of the scholarship committee that decides on guidelines and draws the winner.
  • Cost reimbursed will be based on cost of exam as a national member.
