Workshop Description: This workshop will provide an overview of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D. This workshop will break down each part by coverage options and out-of-pocket costs. Additionally, it will give a basic overview of optional Medicare health plans offered by private insurance companies that you can add to your Medicare coverage if you choose. We will discuss Medicare's enrollment options and time frames, as well as the penalties associated with late enrollment in Medicare and Part D, along with strategies to avoid these penalties. Furthermore, it will cover options available to those who continue working past age 65 and wish to remain enrolled in their employer's plan.

- Differentiating between Medicare parts A, B, C and D
- Identifying Medicare Supplement plan options and how to work with Medicare
- Explaining Medicare’s enrollment options including the option to delay enrollment
- Discussing late enrollment penalties and how to avoid those
Speaker: Kelsy Wark
Bio: Kelsy graduated from the University of Montana with an elementary teaching degree. After a 10-year teaching career, she decided to make a change and jump into the world of insurance. She joined Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) in 2016 as a client manager in our Employee Health and Benefits department. In 2018, she was able to take the knowledge of employee health insurance and move into a position focusing on Medicare health plans. Through this experience, it became clear that offering personal insurance was her passion. Kelsy is eager to meet clients and discover what their desires are when looking at insurance to protect their livelihoods. She prides herself in educating her clients on how insurance works so they can best make decisions on coverage that makes sense for their individual situation. Outside the office, Kelsy enjoys taking her two kids on many outdoor adventures. They love to hike and spend time in any body of water. Nature is their favorite, so Montana is exactly where they want to live.
